Have a blast learning and discovering hands-on!
Our volunteers are eager to explore with you some fascinating Hearth & Home topics. Be sure to wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty. Children (ages 5-10) must be accompanied by a responsible adult. (Parents, this means you get to join in the fun with your kids!)

loaded with fantastic
themed tools and resources!
If you participated in one of our backpack workshops in a previous year, join us again! The activities and backpack contents are new each time.

We are excited to have author and retired teacher Susan Apps Bodilly leading one of the activity stations this year! ...and you will even get a free copy of her award-winning book, Seeds in Soil: Planting a Garden and Finding Your Roots. (We're sure she would autograph it for you, too!)
Pre-registration is required. Limit of 24 children. First-come, first-served. There will also be a waiting list, so if you have signed up and cannot make it, please contact us so we can allow other children to participate in your place.
