​In 2019, we highlighted two unique artifacts per month. Each artifact contributed to the story of America from the pre-Columbian period all the way through the lives and work of John and Juliette Kinzie in the 1830s. An ambassador is a chosen individual who represents his country to a different corner of the world. Our Artifact Ambassadors are objects from the past which have the important job of relaying the stories of their own time to us living today.
